Dr Ana E. Juncos is the Principal Investigator and Consortium Consortium Coordinator for Resilient Peace. She is a Reader in European Politics at the School of Sociology, Politics and International Studies, University of Bristol, and the Principal Investigator of the Horizon 2020 project EU-CIVCAP.
Ana was Principal Investigator of the ESRC IAA Impact Project “PeaceCapacity: Building capacities in civil society for inclusive peace processes in the Horn of Africa and the Western Balkans”, which drew on EU-CIVCAP’s Work Package 6 research. Her primary research interest lies in European foreign and security policy, with a particular focus on the development on the EU’s conflict prevention and crisis management capabilities and its role in conflict resolution. Her previous research project examined the EU’s intervention in the Western Balkans since 1991 (EU Foreign and Security Policy in Bosnia, 2013). She is also co-editor of EU Conﬂict Prevention and Crisis Management (with Eva Gross, Routledge, 2011).
